Sindh Commission on the Status of Women (SCSW) held meeting with delegation of UN Women

Sindh Commission on the Status of Women  (SCSW)  held a meeting Ms. Sharmeela Rasool, Country Representative along with Ms. Fareeha & Mr. Kapil Dev a delegation from UN Women Pakistan.

The agenda behind the meeting was how to strengthen the Commission and work closely with the UN Women.

The main focused area in which SCSW with support of UN Women aims to work on are Women’s Political Participation, Economic Empowerment.

 With this collaboration SCSW will conduct Advocacy & awareness raising campaigns.

Furthermore, the meeting ended on the note of planning a long-term collaboration between SCSW and UN Women Pakistan.
